A globally-renowned composer, singer, and lyricist, Christel Veraart’s musical journey has transcended the boundaries of geographies and genres. Her formal classical training in piano and voice music started quite early in her childhood in the Netherlands and then continued after she relocated to the US. Christel had the privilege of honing her musical knowledge and skills in some prestigious institutions across Maastricht, London, Paris, and Buenos Aires. At Berklee College of Music, she gained exposure to electronic music, sound design, and graphic design.
Her learning spanning across multiple disciplines enabled her to craft a unique creative identity for her musical works. Veraart has released around ten albums and numerous singles spanning multiple genres, which have also been featured in performances, films, and dance productions worldwide. Her long list of accolades, awards, and recognitions is a testimony that speaks volumes about Veraart’s talents and achievements.
Very recently, we got the distinct chance of meeting her and know her and her sweet husband Steve closely–what a wonderful couple they make, such open-minded people are rare to find anywhere, especially during the chaotic times that we all live in. Their hospitality and grace literally floored us!
